In its central Newstead headquarters, you will find a funky cafe with great baristas serving perfect coffees, and a dedicated team freshly roasting premium beans daily to deliver to discerning cafes and restaurants all over Brisbane and beyond.
The cafe is quite pleasant and always seems to be packed; they have a range of sandwiches, salads, with some raw and some cooked desserts also available. The cafe offers tasty organic treats, obviously there's a focus on health food but that doesn't mean you have to compromise on taste.
Local's favourite, true Coorparoo's spirit , welcomes everyone. With an old style service, it is a perfect place to relax with your family and friends. Designed with parents in mind - you will love the fenced play area here, where the kids can play and enjoy their own time while you enjoy yours. They have their own menu and you have yours. MENU
Great range of high quality coffee, tea with knowlegable friendly staff.
A must visit for every vegan, vegetarian and omnivore out there! This food is delicious. Great food, located in a food court. Their food is Gluten Free, plant based, organic and local.
This boutique/cafe is most definitely targeted at trendy mothers with surplus money to spend on gluten-free treats . It's very child-friendly, especially in the school holidays, with all sorts of activities planned. This is a cafe/shop to visit if you need to do some specialty shopping, but be prepared to be tempted. The cafe provides activities to keep little ones busy along with excellent gourmet pies, cakes, salads and coffee.
There's a seemingly never-ending collection of teas for a beginner tea drinker or the seasoned tea steeper to take home. If you're not sure where to start, come in and try a free sample of whatever tea they have on display. This is a veritable tea-lovers dream, with over 200 (and counting!) white, yellow, black, green, oolong, organic, scented, fruit tisanes, rooibos and lux blends
The café itself is a smaller section of the overall organic store, but has ample seating. There are a selection of freshly made juices and various teas boasting miraculous properties. The coffee is also good (as well as fair-trade and organic).
Not only can you absorb yourself in the wonderful selection of books but you also get a fabulous cup of coffee as well. Food great but the coffee was just so smooth, creamy & full bodied. Tucked out the back of this happening bookshop is a courtyard cafe with boxes of toys and dress ups for kids. MENU
If you're crazy about coffee then you really don't care for cafe's that want to be everything to everyone. Naked coffee is all about the coffee. The coffee is great, the little cakes and treats they have for sale are nice compliments to their brew and their staff know their way around a coffee machine. What's not to like?
With nothing (as yet) but organic coffee, acai bowls, protein shakes, freshly pressed juices and raw treats, the bar has a novel concept that is right on trend and will appeal to the growing market of 'clean eaters.' For those to whom the terms 'superfood' and 'clean eating' mean caped bananas and washed apples, a sign on the wall lists the 'superfoods' available (think chia seeds, maca, goji berries and the like) as add-ins to the menu items and their health benefit.
Excellent cafe, great service. Staff love children and accommodate all their needs to make then feel happy and safe. They cater completely for parents/carers and children. Whilst good manners are paramount, they are allowed to draw on the tables, mold shapes in clay, and listen to stories while eating an excellent selection of healthy food designed for little fingers. Mixed reviews on food.
Java Coast does among some of the best coffee in the city. It's robust, complex and they really know how to get the milk right consistently. The breakfast menu covers a good range of sweet and savoury options plus they have no qualms about swapping items for fussy eaters and people with specific dietary needs.
This place is great when you really need something sweet. Grreat variety of cupcakes on offer, the icing was satisfactory thickness, with intriguing toppings and they appeared fresh and in good condition. Any more toppings and they would be excessive though.
Kafe Krave caters for everyone. Whether you are popping over after a gym work out, taking the kids out of the house or just meeting a girlfriend for coffee - this cafe makes you feel welcome. There's a great selection of gluten free cakes and the breakfast menu runs all day. The cafe serves campos coffee which is a big tick as well. A cute little café with highchairs galore, Kafe Krave is always filled to the brim with kids (and their parents), so you know you’re in good company.
