But the icing on the cake of this experience was the customer service. The family and staff that run MEB are just lovely. Great candies, dried fruit, nuts and jordan almonds. There are also aisles of dried beans, a million spices and herbs, and jars of tahini, honey, yogurt, hot pepper paste, rose water and more. VISIT SITE
Excellent Arab grocery store - they have all the goodies! Go on Sunday, when they make their excellent pita bread - better than bread I've had in the Middle East - but go early, because they sometimes run out! Get large bottles of spices here, at a fraction of the price of the corporate groceries. Al Khayam has a decent selection of middle eastern canned goods, groceries, and cheeses, and a halal meat counter. They also have an awesome assortment of bulk spices, both whole and ground. t's a convenient location in the city for a Korean fix. They have a large amount of Korean groceries here considering the fact that there don't seem to be very many Koreans living in this area. There's a private parking lot and it's off the Kennedy Expressway. It's a small market, but they supply 90% of what a Korean would need. The other big bonus is that they have a small kitchen in the back that serves up great korean food for a low price. VISIT SITE
