El Camaguey is an awesome market to buy everything you need for a carne asada taco party. The carne asada meat is fresh and delicious. The great thing about Camaguey is their diverse offering of various types of Latino Cuisine. From Caribbean, to South and Central American and of course Mexican.
They stock everything from fresh epazote to blue corn masa to Guatemalan and Honduran crema. I was surprised to see fresh arbol and chilaca chiles (called pasilla chiles in their dry form). The dried chile and spice section is impressive, too, taking up a whole wall. I've heard they even seasonally carry huitlacoche, although I've never seen it. If you're a Mexican/Central American food enthusiast and want to cook authentic dishes at home, this is your market. VISIT SITE

The offer a good selection of traditional groceries.
It's a Latino market, they carry a good amount of Latino products. You need sofrito in a jar, it's there. You need Goya stuff, it's there. You need lengua or carne asada, the butcher is there to get that for you. They carry veggies and fruit, not the best quality but it's good enough for any Latino. Oh and the diary products, fresh cheese, cojita and Mexican and Salvadoran creams are pretty cheap too!
Think Mexican market: fairly clean, butcher section, produce section, overall small market selection but will most likely have what you're looking for.. It's about the size of a 7-11. Bargain prices for produce & the best part is you can buy as little or as much as you want. This place is small, but if you are thinking about doing a carne asada, then this is a place to go and get your basic ingredients.
