This market is a proper southeast Asian/Chinese market. They have a lot of vegan meatsIf you need a Thai or Vietnamese cooking ingredient it is a fair bet that Starnight has it! It's a large shop, packed with stuff. Noodles, sweets, dried stuff, fresh vegetables. Plus all the fresh produce and spices you need to make your curries, both Thai and Chinese.

Nice selection of mostly Vietnamese foods, but a fair amount of Chinese products and some other random bits and bobs as well. Not tons of produce, but probably enough to get you going. The employees were particularly friendly and inquired after what I was making. It stocks a lot of ingredients that you would typically use in Vietnamese and oriental cooking like fish sauce, lemon grass stalks, MSG, soya sauce, oyster sauce etc.

They have four of these huge supermarkets in the UK, all with free car parking and easily accessible from the motorway. But not just Chinese. Probably one of the best Asian supermarkets in town. There is a maze of shelves and sections of dried foods, canned goods, fish/meat and specialist fresh vegetables/herbs such as agar-agar and lime leaves.
