 The store has all the normal grocery iyems and a large number number of gluten-free options , cheap non-dairy milk, bulk spices, a good selection of meat alternatives (tofu, seitan, mock meats, tempeh) for less than other shops. Also Mexican, Italian, Portugese, Indian, and East Asian prepared foods. Definitely the place for natual food products at decent fair low prices compared to health food stores... great for organic sundries, spices, great produce (incl some organic) and a very diverse bulk foods section... also has a a deli. Easy to find organic foods, the choice for vegetables and fruits is great. Very good location, 5 mins walking from Commercial skytrain station.  Donald's has a large section of vegetarian/vegan specialty items available at a reasonable price. It appears that most of the items in the store consists of fresh organic, gluten-free and lots and lots of products locally grown or made.Web site and other store locations.

You just can't beat the variety of organic foods found at Drive Organics, even though the prices can be steep on some products. They have a lot of things to make vegans happy, lots of superfoods, lots of sauces and mustard and dressings and there's a decent bulk section that includes organic herbs and spices. The atmosphere is relaxing and casual. I would recommend giving this place a try if you were a big organic food fan.

What's not organic is usually local. You can find local, organic, and "conventional" produce & dairy products as well as gluten free and vegan options. Whole Foods Market is widely known as an organic grocery store.  Whole Foods carries pretty much anything you can think of in terms of groceries, including fresh fruits and veggies, a wide variety of baked goods, a huge deli section, and more cheese than you could imagine.  Unfortunately, with that selection comes a high cost which ia a common theme for most reviews. Bloorcourt Village Market is an awesome neighbourhood fruit and grocery market. They have excellent produce, a good selection of other grocery items, the store is clean and bright, and the owners are super friendly. They also have a section for vegans/vegetarians. A favourite element is the selection of healthier and vegan options. They have organic hummus, soy milk, tofu, etc.

Hands down the best organic grocery/household/beauty product location in downtown Toronto. Great place and great price for every day organic and vegetarian/vegan food items. Knowledgable staff make your hard choices easier.

This place just looks like a typical vitamin/supplement store - but if you walk to the back they have an awesome selection of health food, organic staples, gluten-free food, and some produce. The milk, yogurt and cheese is always fresh and the prices are much better than some of the chain grocery stores.

The prices here are very reasonable for organic and natural food. The house-roasted coffee is excellent, and comes in a variety of blends. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hours are convenient.

Wonderful ethnic food shop which specializes in Middle Eastern and Asian (Indian) foodstuffs. This a great store for vegans, vegetarians and people who Middle Eastern or Asian food. This small store holds a great variety of rices, beans, lentils, spices, oils, health products, nuts, tofu, tempeh, seeds, oils, seaweeds, incense, fresh feta cheeses, Indian soups and more.
