There are grocery items, a good frozen food section and cookery equipment as well as fresh foods. However, the jewel in the crown is an impressive fish and seafood counter.

Thai food store with staples for homesick expats and nostalgic holidaymakers. Check out the homemade curry pastes and bags of frozen prawns. Staff are super friendly too.  Expect to find the usual dried noodles, rice and sauces but if you want a huge rage of choices Thai food wise, then head into China town in central London, where you'll find everything you need.

They have a lot of vegan meatsIf you need a Thai or Vietnamese cooking ingredient it is a fair bet that Starnight has it!  It's a large shop, packed with stuff. Noodles, sweets, dried stuff, fresh vegetables.  Plus all the fresh produce and spices you need to make your curries, both Thai and Chinese.

 They have a decent selection of everything you'd need. Surprisingly, they had vegetarian banh trung thu (moon cakes). They stock  big bunches of coriander and thai basil; fresh tofu; frozen black prawns; char sui buns; lotus root; sushi ginger; sushi rice; black bean sauce; kikkoman soy sauce; japanese kare (curry) stock cubes; Pokki chocolate sticks and much more.

This is a smallish shop, but it's got a nice selection of goods from different parts of Asia. Lots of dried noodles like ramen, soba, and dangmyeon, sauces, oils, and frozen foods. Not so much fresh stuff, but just inside the front door to the right is a case with some fresh things like spring onions, duck eggs, and kimchi.

Nice little Thai shop where you can find all the basics. The fresh produce was limited on the day I went, but the shelves were labeled with all the usual herbs and vegetables common in Thai cuisine. Excellent source of genuine Thai produce including fresh fruit and vegetables. They do pre-prepared takeaway meals for micro-waving most days

As far as Chinese supermarkets/wholesalers go, Wing Yip have really got it together. They have four of these huge supermarkets in the UK, all with free car parking and easily accessible from the motorway. But not just Chinese. Here you can buy Thai pastes, a Japanese sushi kit, sample Indian and even grab offerings you wouldn't find anywhere else like Singaporean and Malaysian.

Probably one of the best Asian supermarkets in town. There is a  maze of shelves and sections of dried foods, canned goods, fish/meat and specialist fresh vegetables/herbs such as agar-agar and lime leaves. You can get dried, frozen and fresh ingredients, the latter including Asian fruit and veg as well as live lobsters for the brave! They also have a small selection of utensils and cooking paraphernalia such as steamers and pans etc.
