If you are price conscious, you'll love Winco.  Yes, the normal prices may be comparable to Walmart, but the sale prices can be unbelievable and the selection is that of a full grocery store (unlike Walmart).  They have a decent selection of Mexican & Asian produce, spices, sauces, noodles, etc and the prices are very good. Bakery section is fresh and delicious, and cheaper than many other stores on many items. The bulk food aisles have a large selection of items!

The place itself is small but is loaded with lots of authentic Japanese products imported from japan. The frozen section has a wide selection of sushi grade seafood like salmon, tuna, mackerel, yellowtail, squid, octopus, eel and both cooked and raw shrimp. This place sells ready to eat beef gyudon, sake, frozen gyoza, different sauces (sukiyaki, tempura sauce, katsudon sauce, rice vinegar etc).

Mekong is a nice sized supermarket with a large seafood and meat counter. Dry and canned goods are plentiful. The cashiers are young, friendly, and fast. If you want to avoid the crowds, then go on weekdays. Mekong is the go-to place for all kinds of seafood especially Shrimp.This is the place for all Asian groceries and spices.They have so many varieties of Noodles alone.

This is a Korean Market,but  there are plenty of Asian items that it's hard to find anywhere else. Inside this market, there is a pharmacy, cosmetic area, restaurant and bakery. Their seafood department is fantastic, clean and fresh. A lot of the staff though speaks mostly Korean and a little bit of English. Many gluten-free options, including sweet potato starch noodles and acorn meal.There is a small restaurant inside the supermarket that sells Korean dishes.

This is a great family run grocery store - heavy on Asian items, good cheap produce, and butcher shop. They have all the ingredients and produce you'll need to make Asian meals including Malaysian, Indonesian, Vietnameseand Chinese dishes and more. This grocery warehouse market rocks have star fruit -jujubes, mangos-durian and hundreds of different types of canned fruit. Huge selection with incredible and hard to find vegetables and cuts of meat.

t's a convenient location in the city for a Korean fix. They have a large amount of Korean groceries here considering the fact that there don't seem to be very many Koreans living in this area. There's a private parking lot and it's off the Kennedy Expressway.  It's a small market, but they supply 90% of what a Korean would need. The other big bonus is that they have a small kitchen in the back that serves up great korean food for a low price. Fresh and well rounded. Great place when cooking oriental food. The prices are really outstanding, especially for the various sauces, noodles, vinegars and oils. If you are new to Asian cooking, look up some easy recipes to start with, bring a shopping list, and you will find everything you need. Overall a great selection of Chinese food and cooking supplies, an abundance of produce, and seafood so fresh it is still living. The soy sauce selection is abundant, there are dozens of interesting juices, and the frozen dumpling selection isn't too shabby either.

Inside they have multiple whole walls dedicated to rice and aisles dedicated to noodles. They have a really big selection of cookware too. The spices/sauces/condiments are aplenty and they have a very nice selection of produce and meat/fish. They even have a prepared food corner and herbal medicine corner. The only thing that may be a little lacking is their frozen section. The staff are nice too and it's not too messy inside like some other Asian markets.The meat section is questionable, but the fish area typically has a lot of fresh seafood.

This Korean supermarket is HUGE.. and when you go inside, it's so chaotic, colorful, noisy, and wonderful. Huge Korean market with various Korean products, vegetable, fresh seafoods and food court inside.  This is a Japanese supermarket and deli combined.  In the supermarket section, you have fresh grocery and packaged food ( think instant noodles, pockey , etc). Even though it is located in heat of Manhattan the prices are still in reasonable range compare to other Japanese supermarkets. Very cool little Japanese grocer market.  In the front they have a large selection of prepared meals, both Japanese and Korean delicacies, rice balls, and sushi to go. Hands down, one of the best Chinese grocery store in Manhattan..This is probably the largest supermarket in Chinatown. At the front there's a bunch of fresh produce, and to the right are packaged foods. They even have a basement with miscellaneous goods like cooking equipment, utensils, household items, etc. They stock Thai, Vietnamese, and a small Korean and Japanese section) to standard American groceries (cereal, biscuits, oil, milk, etc.) to household items.

This is one of the best Asian supermarkets in all of NYC. They have high volume sales so everything is fresh. The cashiers are nice and fast. Good place to go if you need asian ingredients. They have a lot of the same brands and variety as the other locations in Houston,just not as many different products/variety but for a smaller location it will do. Overall it's a good place if you live in the clear lake area to go if you need an Asian specialty item. Kroger-sized Oriental grocery with exotic Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Indonesian and Malaysian spices. Produce selection is great and the prices pretty reasonable
