It's an ethnic market, so you're going to find a lot of ethnic specialties. There's lavash and sangak from at least five different local bakeries, several brands and flavors of yogurt, and lot's of various Persian sweets and pastries. You can get baklava, zaban, borek, halva, sohan, fruit tarts, etc. in plastic cartons (made fresh at local bakeries) or from the bakery counter.
This place had everything as far as middle eastern spices. Halabi beber (Aleppo Pepper), dried mint (nane), sumac, lentil, cumin, and all at reasonable prices. Great variety of fresh spices at very good prices! It is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall but well worth venturing in and poking around. It's got just about every spice you'd need. It's also got frozen basturma and soujouk, pomegranate paste, an endless array of jams, jellies, and dried fruits, and a decent selection of Greek, Armenian, and Middle Eastern cheeses.

The grocery store itself has all the middle eastern items you need. This supermarket is awesome! It has everything you need to make the perfect Middle Eastern meal. Nice sized parking lot so you don't have to pay for parking like the markets on Devon. It is a pretty big store and is well kept - very organized with directory signs in each aisle. This little "hole in the wall" store is located in the basement level but is a haven for incredible meat, fish and Middle Eastern foods.Very cheap fish and shrimp. They also sell chicken and beef but at pretty much the same price as whole foods. If you're a fan of Moroccan or Turkish food, this is a great place for you.
