A compact supermarket that carries the essentials, plus some hard to find items. They have a nice selection of freshly cut meats and poultry, although some cuts are only available toward the end of the week. Also notable, is a fresh array of baked goods including bread, rolls, buns, pitas and pastries, from a few of the local bakeries, delivered daily.
The owners are of Russian descent but the shelves are lined with items from Eastern Europe, and Israel. Russia, Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia, Hungary, you'll find somethin' here. In the refrigerated section, pretty much any combination of beets, potatoes, and cabbage is available. As far as packaged goods, variation is no obstacle, and they have just about everything (or an alternative) to anything you might possibly want from the Motherland.
A fantastic store this is. It is the largest kosher food store in the entire city of Los Angeles. It has such a variety of foods, adequate service, convenient location. If you like fresh meat or chicken this is the place to shop, there salmon is amazing the meat is always the premium cuts. Ample parking makes it very convenient. Amazing customer service.
Excellent Kosher market, and they have a great prepared food section. Pico Glatt is a hodgepodge of tightly organized products and reasonably priced produce. The market is fine and good, cramped and difficult to navigate. The price of produce is so amazingly cheap - you wonder why everyone doesn't shop here. Since many Persians shop here too, they have wonderful fresh herbs also at ridiculously cheap prices. VISIT SITE
It is really a one stop shop for everything Kosher. Produce is fresh and cheap (this sets it apart from many kosher supermarkets). The meat is reasonably priced and always fresh. Take-out and sushi is great. Overall a great shopping experience. Great Kosher grocery emporium in 20,000 square feet. The market is very clean with a huge array of fresh produce, with good prices on the sale items and reasonable prices on most produce.
Baruch HaShem for Holyland Market being where it is. It's unbelievable that this place exists where it does. Such an amazing feeling to know that kosher food is so easily accessible. It's truly a pleasure shopping there. Baruch HaShem for Holyland Market being where it is. It's unbelievable that this place exists where it does. This is the best supermarket option for kosher eaters on the UWS. The prepared foods, especially at Passover time, are delectable and are in a class of their own. Fish, Dairy, prepared food, desserts, The Catering they do is also fantastic. The minute you walk in the smell of fantatsic prepared food is ovrwelming. The daily specials are incredible. VISIT SITE
The prepared foods - especially the fish - are superb, and their selection of poultry and meat is amazing. If you decide to keep kosher and you're looking for some high-end prepared food, this grocery store can beat hands-down most kosher restaurants. Hard to find kosher items are readily available (Pas YIsroel tortilla wraps, gourmet cholov yisroel cheeses, and plenty more). VISIT SITE
It's a good supermarket with lots of products and the bread section is on point. Great Kosher for Passover selection when it comes close to Passover season around about March / April of every year. They have everything you could possibly need.
Kosher butcher with baked and dairy products, prepared foods, cooked and uncooked meats. This is by the far the best butcher (Kosher or otherwise) in town.
Great place for all your kosher grocery shopping needs. Large selection of fresh produce, a fresh deli/takeout, beer etc etc the best kosher supermarket in the Crown Heights/Park Slop area. Prices are on par with most kosher places (a little higher than your average supermarket), but that's expected as every single solitary item is certified kosher, and that certification, which is a luxury, comes with some added cost. Hatzlacha is in the heart of the Hasidic part of Williamsburg so everything they sell is kosher. Hatzlacha which means Luck in Hebrew is an entirely Kosher Supermarket serving an Orthodox Community. This place is amazing for a kosher person--from the selection to the small touches like popular Jewish CDs being sold-- but it's great for anyone else, too.
This small grocer has that cute family run vibe and has the old fashioned fair price for quality product feel. There are a number of things that Carmel sells way below supermarket or other local stores that are worth coming back for over and over again. Find many Israeli goods here that other Kosher stores don't or won't carry. Is open Saturday (Shabbat). This is THE location for eastern European goods. This place offers specialty items, specifically from Israel Russia too.
Friendly guys and great assortment of food items you won't see most places. This place is like finding a buried treasure. Just look at the shelves and there will surely be something to catch your eye.
This kosher butcher has a ton of variety. All kinds of meat, chicken and a bunch of different Israeli products. All kosher meats are also Halal. For the Muslim neighbors of the northeast, this wonderful couple would love to make their top quality meats part of your next Eid celebration. There's the standard selection of kosher meat products, but also a lot of specialty things -- house made sausages and different kinds of burgers.
Greek food, Turkish food, and quite surprisingly, Israeli food! Great little shop with a lot if interesting foods. They carry overseas chocolate & cookies that are absolutely delicious and also provide the best and freshest fruit in the area.
Homemade Goodies is a small, cute kosher bakery with a few vegan options . Kristin is the best baker and creates amazing vegan cupcakes, cookies and challah.
Pre-packaged kosher meat section. Large selection of kosher frozen food, wine, Cholov Yisroel milk and cheese.
The food is organized by country of origin - Russia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Armenia, Israel, Portugal, etc. This store is amazing, don't let its small size fool you. It carries an eclectic mix of foodstuffs from the former USSR as well as a wide array of Israeli brand products. They also have a wide array of wines and beers from not only Russia, but from eastern europe as well.. In addition, you can find imported spices, teas, coffees, smoked fish, breads, sausages, cheeses and frozen foods.
Belden's is definitely more expensive than other grocery stores in the immediate area but they have items that you cannot find in other stores. Belden's carries a large selection of Jewish/Kosher foodstuffs, and an awesome selection of wine and beer. Best kosher for Passover selection in Houston and honestly, the best kosher section in Houston too. It is definitely a staple for any kosher household in the Meyerland area. The store and staff is familiar and friendly.
The International food is quite extense: Chorizo Espanol, Yerba Mate from Argentina, sweet potato preserve from Argentina, chimichurri sauce, cheese bread from Colombia, Dulce de Leche from Chile (yay), Harina Pan from Venezuela (to make arepas, which are corn meal patties and not to be confused with MAZA from Mexico),chocolates, cookies and coffee from Brazil. The Brits have it easy here as well. Lot of British products: cookies, chocolates, biscuits, waffles, tea, some drinks, VISIT SITE
