El Camaguey is an awesome market to buy everything you need for a carne asada taco party. The carne asada meat is fresh and delicious. The great thing about Camaguey is their diverse offering of various types of Latino Cuisine. From Caribbean, to South and Central American and of course Mexican.

They stock everything from fresh epazote to blue corn masa to Guatemalan and Honduran crema.  I was surprised to see fresh arbol and chilaca chiles (called pasilla chiles in their dry form).  The dried chile and spice section is impressive, too, taking up a whole wall.  I've heard they even seasonally carry huitlacoche, although I've never seen it. If you're a Mexican/Central American food enthusiast and want to cook authentic dishes at home, this is your market. El Nuevo Mundo Market is a pecialists in authentic Creole Cuban food... where you will find what you need to create the most delicious dishes. They have an extensive variety of items and produce found locally and from various Latin American countries. They also offer prepared meals ready to eat here or take out. A  favorite place for pan dulce, fresh guacamole, chicken, and carne asada. This place has great customer service.

This is medium sized latino/hispanic grocery store, you will find items mostly from  Central America and a few from South America, specially Colombia. This small grocery store with a cafe in back has many Spanish, Cuban and South American items that are hard to find elsewhere on the Northside.

Great place to get some ribs and steaks! ... Italy, Croatia, Uruguay and everything you need for an authentic Cuban Meal! This small to medium sized Latin store has a HUGE variety of meat from churrasco to chorizo to bacon to pork chops. The prices are very reasonable. Essex Market is an indoor market with a bunch of vendors, some in stalls and some in the same open space. The Porto Rico stall while not as comprehensive as their other shops is still great for a fresh coffee and supplies.

Fantastic local bodega. The food is fresh, the staff friendly. Anything you need in a pinch, you can probably get here.  They have everything you could possibly need from a decent beer selection to home made wine to a fresh deli and produce to soap.

Items from Ecuador, Mexico, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba etc...etc...Produce is very inexpensive and the variety is mind blowing! Wonderful selection of Latin American products - every kind of fresh and dried chile pepper you can imagine and other South American products as well,  like Peruvian dried potatoes and blue corn flour. They have all kinds of unique produce and ethnic grocery items as well as regular grocery items.

Colorful supermarket with a lot of different hispanic products.  The prices aren't the lowest, but you can find a lot of stuff you normally would not find in a regular supermarket. This store has everything that caters to the Hispanic community. This has a tortilleria ( fresh made corn tortillas), a fresh aquas (flavored water) stand, a taqueria/ grill and on the weekends barbacoa, carnitas, menudo and all that good stuff. They have a huge selection for fresh baked sweet bread and everything a normal grocery store has.

The  International food is quite extense: Chorizo Espanol, Yerba Mate from Argentina, sweet potato preserve from Argentina, chimichurri sauce, cheese bread from Colombia, Dulce de Leche from Chile (yay), Harina Pan from Venezuela (to make arepas, which are corn meal patties and not to be confused with MAZA from Mexico),chocolates, cookies and coffee from Brazil. The Brits have it easy here as well.
