Always tasty! The Pho Tai is excellent and the lemongrass steak spring rolls were very nice. Can't go wrong at this cash only establishment. Parking stinks and there is not a sign out front but otherwise you will be very happy. The pho is amazing at this place, and it comes out of the kitchen really fast. Great prices for what you get.
Easily the best Vietnamese restaurant in Koreatown! iI's exactly what I pho place is suppose to be; relaxed, fast and cheap. Everything is really affordable and reasonably priced.
Quick. Fairly cheap. Simple. Cash Only. The ingredients are honest and delicious. Their broth is amazing and their pho noodle is always made fresh! The food is pretty good and authentic. Service is fast. And there's free parking. Decor could use some help.
This is fresh and authentic food server and this is an exceptional place which has the best spicy and amazing food. Perfect curries, veggies, chicken, and super fresh rotis and parathas. They make paratha to order it comes out steaming hot! They have a small portion of the store set up cafeteria-style where you order you food.
Inside it was like a corner store. They had hot food, produce, and a small shopping area. First and foremost, their price is excellent. Food is of very good quality. They don't skimp on food, neither do they nickel and dime you to death for extras. Generous portions. Very clean. Super attentive service. Very authentic. You can taste the love and hard work put into this food.
Mofongo's is a must try for LA restaurants and hopefully this gem will bring Puerto Rican food to the map in LA. No matter what you order here the food a great! The Jibarito de Pollo is almost as good as the Lechon one, get it if you don't eat pork. It truly brings a taste of Puerto Rico to LA.. MENU
Its a restaurant/grocery like few others in the area. So if you are looking for a fancy restaurant environment this is not it. But quality and taste wise its a great place. Their food is really good. Especially biryani. And very well priced. Fish is great too.
This is one of the many Bangladeshi-owned grocery stores/ steam table eateries along 3rd street.
The groceries all the usual Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi and even some Sri Lankan spices and condiments. Also a selection of snacks, desserts, teas. The food served here is inexpensive but very good. Bangladeshi cuisine is known for its emphasis on fish and I would highly recommend those dishes here but the traditional indian cuisine here isn't bad either.
The food they offer is typical pub fare. Drink prices are comparable to other places downtown. The food is good ol comfort foodthat hits your spot and fills you up. Its like you went to your irish grandmas house. The fish n chips are always good and the rest of the menu is awesome. MENU
Aladin is famous as a Halal Restaurant and as a result vegetarians have very limited option here. This is a Bengali style kitchen that is different from north/south Indian flavors. The spices are toned down and there is distinct sweetness in most items. The place also sells groceries and you can catch yourself a good exotic fish. The prices are on the super cheap side. If not for the restaurant, and if you live nearby, its a good place for ethnic grocery.
This awesome and delicious food items lead to a fantastic experience. The food is amazing, the overall situation is great. Molly Malones is the epitome of an Irish bar. Strong drinks, good people and the best of bar tenders. MENU
There's a simple charm about this place. Equal parts grocery store, butcher, deli, and cafe. The hot food section makes scrumptious Argentine and Brazilian foods. Choripan (sausage) sandwich and empanadas are not to be missed! The empanadas are delicious. The market is nice and clean, great selection of products.
Great authentic Burmese food! An ethnic restaurant that offers authentic and quality food at a very affordable price. And if you're vegan or paleo, they have a variety of dishes that are just as wonderful as the staff. SEE MENU
Yoma Myanmar has great food! The restaurant itself is a bit difficult to find, but it's located next to a 7-11 and is pretty tiny looking from the outside. You can get street parking and just walk on over. The service is pretty solid, attentive and pretty friendly. WARNING: CASH ONLY! This quaint little restaurant is wonderful, the owner is friendly, and the food is legit, plain and simple.
Overall the food is amazing and the atmosphere and the location is a plus. Be prepared to wait. During the weekends, the line can get extremely long. if you're in downtown la, make this a stop. eat it at the counter. and don't forget to walk through the rest of the market (which is so la and super adorable). Try the brioche bun is super fresh and the generous amount of bacon is consistently crispy. MENU
